Insulation should be considered an integral part of your underfloor heating system. If the sub floor you are laying your system on to does not have insulation beneath, it will be necessary to provide insulation directly beneath the heating system to ensure manageable heat up times and to minimise running costs. UFH.Biz offer a number of cost effective options to enable correct insulation beneath your heated floor.
Marmox is a reinforced coated insulation board suitable for mounting on to concrete / screeded and timber floors. Used exclusively with undertile cable and mat systems.
Blueboard is an EPS board specificaly designed for use beneath undertile heating mat systsems, to be used on concrete & screeded floors.
Depron is closed cell foam insulation board used beneath Thermolam heating systems beneath Laminate and engineered Wood flooring.
Therma-coat is a true thermal primer and is recomended for use in areas where the increase in floor height associated with thermal backing board is simply not an option.

UFH.biz can supply a range of insulatuion materials suitable for use with our floor heating systems.
All underfloor heating systems require good quality insulation to enable them to operate as the designers intended, we can supply appropriate materials for all our system types.
Marmox is a construction strength reinforced board and at only 10mm thickness will provide sufficient insulative properties to mount below a tiled floor on an un-insulated or poorly insulated base. Thicker boards can be used in place of traditional sand and cement screed and are desirable for increased heating efficiency.

Blueboard Insulation.
Blueboard is the name given to our own brand styrofoam insulation material designed and manufactured specifically for use beneath under tile and ThermoLAM heating mat kits. High compresive strength, light weight, exceptional performance and low cost make this an ideal insulation choice.

DEPRON INSULATION
Depron is a closed cell insulation material of lower density than Blueboard making it the ideal choice for use with ThermoLAM heating systems beneath Laminate and Engineered Wood floors.
6mm in thickness for first floor applications or groundfloor areas where where the subfloor is well insulated.
12mm in thickness (2 x 6mm) for use in conservatorys and less well insulated areas.

Therma - coat
Upgrade to this high tech floor primer for increased efficiency. Supplied in place of our standard priming solution.
Can be used inconjunction with insulated tile backing boards or as a sole means of insulation on concrete, screed, previously tiled, ply-wood, chipboard and most other floor types.
1 bottle covers approx 14m2, multiple coates can be applied for increased thermal resistance.
Therma-Coat has been designed to be used in conjunction with Underfloor Heating.
Reduce heat loss by up to 20%.
